Evaluating Common Postural Faults, and Assessing Ergonomics
This online course is designed for any massage therapist or bodyworker who would like to review and update their knowledge on postural faults and ergonomics in the workplace:
- Gain a greater understanding of the postural issues therapists see most frequently in their practice, and all the tools to develop a safe and effective treatment and management plan
- Learn about lumbar hyperlordosis and thoracic hyperkyphosis, as well as the steps to perform a detailed assessment, and how to create a treatment and management plan for each of them
- Learn about ergonomic challenges in office environments and how to assess them. This includes the updated research on these subjects, to offer you the most recent, reliable information possible
- Each pathology will cover an overview, causes, symptoms, assessment, appropriate treatment techniques, homecare and contraindications
- 8 modules with great illustrations and some quizzes along the way
- Receive a Certificate with successful completion
- CMTBC – Cycle 12 – Approved 1PD Credit
- CMTO – 1.5 Catagory A
- MTAS – 3 Primary Credits
